This amazing archaeological excavation site is indescribable. At least 59 mammoths [in North America probably the woolly mammoth]  have been discovered and research is ongoing. Other  extinct animals and descendants of many species such as bears and rhinoceros have been found. The site was a sink hole at some point in the evolution of time and climate. The rim of the sink hole was identified and completely encapsulated with a building to protect the dig from further deterioration of climate changes.
