BLESSED THANKSGIVING - FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Bountiful Thanksgiving
[Broderbund ClickArt]

For all who cross my post today, I wish you Peace, Gratitude and Blessing. Whatever your or my lot in life today, I realize many in my own town, maybe my own family, my country, and, by extension, the planet, who are not as fortunate as we are.

As we observe an age old tradition, not only in America, but other countries have rituals of Thanksgiving, too,-- may we go forth tomorrow to embrace the larger world of family and friends, especially those who need us, too.

Interestingly in our language Family and Friends both begin with F. In my life there have been those where the line of definition is all but the same, and I feel doubly blessed.

BLESSED THANKSGIVING DAY FOR ALL WHO READ POST TODAY.

I have just seen a story on hunger in America and that any child should go without today breaks my heart...yes, we are fortunate in more ways than we can count...thanks so much for pointing it out! We host a family each year for Thanksgiving but now I'm asking myself if that's enough. The answer is no...going to have to adopt myself a family for the year...hope your Thanksgiving is filled with stuffing and bird but most of all the cranberries...there are never enough cranberries...
hugs to you and yours

Happy Thanksgiving.

We had a most enjoyable day
just staying home for a change...
I have to work night shift so we
couldn't go out of town... but it was
really nice just Bob, the little diva
( Tease the Jack Russell Terror ) and me... had way too much to eat
and then football on TV all afternoon...

Thank you Carol and back at ya. In all our bounty, it is hard to realize in this great country that ther is still hunger for so many.
