Those are very clear illustrations of the word lock. I can't imagine having to learn English it is so complicated.

You tickled me about the stone and pounds thing. They have one at that site to go from pounds to stones. The whole thing just cracks me up and so do you. I'm so glad we met even if we are a bit away from each other.

Turned out WE didn't need the ark, but our son who lives south of us nearly needed a storm cellar. This whole week has been wild with storms. He is fine and my dil and grandson are in Georgia visiting her parents. Her dad isn't doing too well. I want her to spend as much time as she can with her folks now. They are much older than my husband and me. There will be time when she gets back to Texas.

Have to agree with Amber Star and our difficult language. Same word with different meanings. Sure glad I was born here. Good take on the word.

This is punting? I can't see how you'd have done better with more time. Seriously, you've got it covered.

Before I saw that last picture of all the keys, I was about to say that I might have the extra keys that go with that mixture of locks. Isn't that how it always happens, the keys and locks get separated. Thanks for stopping by!

Nice pictures of a batch of locks that appear, for the most part, to be part of your daily life.

Great series of photos for the theme. I thought afterwards I could have posted the hair my daughter donated to Locks of Love.
