Ouch, I just see a lot of work. I don't mind painting but that re-painting is not fun. Too much prep work. Now that you have the pictures as proof, you have no choice. Have fun.

Great take on the theme. So many things around me need repainting.

I have several of those 'needs to be re-painted' items too . Nice set of photos this week.

Actually most of the things you think need to be painted look just fine to me. I like the rustic look.

I have a bedroom that needs painting...want to come help? :P I've done the hard part of picking out the paint. *grin*

Oh, dear...I don't like to be reminded of all the unfinished business around my house...but this was a delightful, wonderful, witty photo essay!!! Love it! Have a terrific weekend! ~Janine XO

I love all these photos... peeling paint is interesting to me... In face the photographer had my granddaughter stand in front of an old barn with peeling paint for one of the photos... and I really liked it... Great post for the theme this week! Thanks for coming by to see mine!

Is the spackle paint freshly painted? If so then you've got it totally covered.

Sorry it took me so long to come by. I've had computer woes.

Great photos! But I'm a scrapbooker - and the word it "distressed". It's a good thing. Lol! :)

I was in CHina and Macau recently and I had taken a lot of pics of old buildings w their fare share of peels. Best of all, my friend got me interested in antiques. Love pics there reminded me of those experiences.

Nice shots. Perfect for teh theme, but it sounds like there is a lot of painting to be done!

Please stop by my blog today and pick up a little something I have for you.

I still like your "needs to be painted" stuff that doesn't really to me.

TO MY VIEWERS & READERS: Lots of my viewers considered this post as the prospect of too much work!!! Actually the splatter shots are my husband's somewhat erratic use of a paint sprayer. The "raw" wood with a button (doorbell) in the center needs coat of marine varnish which it once had, but 20+ years of weather wore it off. The patriotic faded painted concrete piece-I would re-paint but not sure what kind of paint to use.

Well if you paint them they'll just need painting again in the near future. Save you energy unless they need painting to preserve them.

Good photos by the way for the theme.

Thanks for visiting and have a good week.
